New Releases and eBook Gift Ideas: December 6

New Releases and eBook Gift Ideas: December 6

*Happy Sigh* It’s the middle of December and this is my favorite time of the year! The air is crisp, the city is decked out for the holidays and people I pass on the sidewalks seem generally happy as they go about their day. I’ve been listening to my Christmas carols for a few weeks now and the only thing that could make this season better for me would be finally getting our first real snowfall of the season.

New books also make me happy. I bet they’d make someone on your gift list happy, too! Luckily, it’s New Release Tuesday and the list of potential gift books just keeps growing.

In addition to making this our Pick of the Week, we’re also giving away an ePub eBook copy of LOST DECEMBER to one winner. Rules for the giveaway are posted below.

From one of America’s most beloved storytellers comes his most spiritual book since The Christmas Box.

New Release Tuesday: November 29

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving weekend! My husband and I went to visit my side of the family and had a blast visiting with everyone and playing with our nieces and nephews. I had a reading plan for the weekend, which I posted here last week, but I totally underestimated my reading time. Oh well, I’ll get there!

I’m excited to share this week’s new releases with you, there are lots of great new reads from authors like Ann Rule, Dale Brown, Richard North Patterson and so many more! As always, you can see them all at Lazy Day Books, but here are a few of the highlights.

Travel Time is Perfect Reading Time

Travel Time is Perfect Reading Time

Thanksgiving weekend is one of the busiest travel times of the year. And travel time is great reading time! I don’t know about you, but I’m never quite sure what kind of book I’ll be in the mood for when travelling, I think it has a lot to do with my stress level after getting through security at the airport. So, I make sure I load up my eReader with a variety of options.

Here are just a few of the books I’m travelling with this weekend. What kind of books do you like to read when you’re away from home?

It’s already Tuesday again and I can’t believe how fast this month is flying by. We’re only two weeks away from Thanksgiving and some quality family time. If you travel over the holiday, you might consider carrying eBooks with you to lighten your luggage and avoid those pesky airline fees. Here are some of this week’s new release to consider taking with you.

Thanksgiving Dinner: Planning Ahead for a Stress-Free Holiday

Thanksgiving Dinner: Planning Ahead for a Stress-Free Holiday

Believe it or not, if you’re the host, it’s time to plan your Thanksgiving Dinner! I’m a natural procrastinator, so I’ve learned the hard way that planning ahead really is the best way to keep the holidays stress-free. You’ll even be able to spend time with your guests without worrying about the meal. And your guests will appreciate a host who is relaxed and enjoying the day with them.

New Release Tuesday: November 1

I said this last week, too, but I really can’t believe November is here already! Where does the time go? It’s getting chilly outside- perfect weather for curling up on the sofa with a good book and a steamy cup of hot chocolate. Sounds cozy, right?

As always, this Tuesday brings a host of great new books, including some to get you in the holiday spirit!

Mozart’s Last Aria is one that initially drew my attention because the cover is so striking and pretty. I don’t know where she’s going, but I want to follow and find out! The description sounds really good, too, so this is one that will be moving to the top of my To Be Read Pile.
